Are you in San Sebastian and would you like to travel in style to Rioja and enjoy a day tour as part of your transfer to Rioja?
With this day tour, accompanied by a guide, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel and visit prestigious wineries in Rioja. A traditional Riojan meal is also included in this tour. On the way back to San Sebastian there will be a brief stop at a medieval village called Laguardia, ending this tour in the most exciting way.
You will be picked up and dropped-off at your hotel or accomodation in the city of San Sebastián. You can also be picked-up in San Sebastian and be dropped off in Rioja or Bilbao. Contact us to find out about these options.
Pick-up time is normally at around 08:30 but the exact pick-up time will be communicated to you once your guide has arranged the itinerary for the day
The day begins with you being picked-up at your hotel in a comfortable minivan by your expert English-speaking guide. The first stop will be Haro in the wine region of Rioja where you will visit a winery and try 3 impressive wines of theirs. You will be able to appreciate the vineyard landscapes and learn all about wine production in this prestigious wine region. You will be guided by a wine connoisseur during the tastings and enjoy a full 3-course lunch at a reputable restaurant.
Following the lunch in Rioja (Alta) there is another surprise we have organised for you: a stop in the medieval-walled village of Laguardia. Here you will get the chance to enjoy a walk through the cobbled streets and hear about the interesting history of Laguardia from your guide. After enjoying the views this town offers, the journey continues back to San Sebastian.
